Context: Subacute thyroiditis has been classified as an auto inflammatory condition and occurs mainly due to a viral infection. According the pathogenesis of SARS-CoV2 infection, which is based on uncontrolled immune response, several studies have investigated possible association between subacute thyroiditis. In this regard, we aimed review organize these studies.
